Prerequisites
- A Facebook Page (Personal Profiles aren't supported by Meta's API)
- An Instagram Business account linked to that Page
- You're an admin or editor of the Page
Steps
- Go to Settings → Integrations in NEXXSS
- Click Connect Facebook
- Sign in with the account that admins your Page
- Grant the requested permissions (pages_messaging, instagram_basic, instagram_manage_messages, etc.)
- Choose the Page(s) you want to connect
What happens next
- Inbound DMs on either platform land in Inbox within seconds
- Comments on your posts show up in the Comments queue
- You can reply directly from NEXXSS — replies are sent through the official Meta APIs
Troubleshooting
- Token expired? Reconnect from Settings → Integrations. Tokens last 60 days.
- Webhook not firing? Check /dashboard/health — we surface webhook subscription status per Page.
